Mrs. Stacy Brown

SB Biography

Mrs. Brown is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a product of the Gwinnett County School System. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, Master of Education in Leadership, and Specialist of Education in Leadership. She also holds endorsements in Instructional Coaching, Gifted, Math, and Science. Although not majoring in music, Mrs. Brown received the Middle Georgia College Music Award in 1994.

Mrs. Brown has been teaching at Northside Elementary School since 1996. She was the 2006-2007 NES Teacher of the Year, the 2016 STEM Teacher of the Year, a 2020 13WMAZ My Teacher is Tops recipient, and was in a Georgia Teachers public service announcement: https://youtu.be/FVny327WQo8

She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Kathryn and Madison. Kathryn attended Northside High School and currently attends the University of Georgia. She was a member of the Blue Wind Band and Clarinet Section leader. Madison is currently a student at Northside High School and a member of the Blue Wind Band.
